Thomas

Tony Thomas has been preaching since 1972 and he recently retired from full time ministry after seventeen years at Woodland Heights Christian Church in Crawfordsville, IN. He is now the part-time minister at Worthington Christian Church in Worthington, Indiana.

Tony was born and raised in Miami, OK where he attended First Christian Church, and he received his education at the Cincinnati Bible Seminary in Cincinnati, OH. For seven years he wrote a weekly column for The Paper of Montgomery County, the Pharos-Tribune in Logansport, and The Paper of Wabash County. He is the author of, “A Smidgeon of Religion” (available at www.authorhouse.com or www.amazon.com). He is an active member of Rotary International and he coaches co-ed golf at Crawfordsville Middle School in the spring and Girls’ Golf at Crawfordsville High School in the fall.

His wife is Christie, a Title 1 Teacher’s Aide who specializes in reading intervention at Hoover Elementary in Crawfordsville. The Thomas’s have three grown daughters (Angela, Ashley and Abigail), and six grandchildren (Emma, Marshall, Gabe, Brooklyn Corey, and Penny).
