Introduction
- This morning, I believe that I have a dual assignment. I come to you this morning because we are entering a season of expansion and breakthrough, and If we are focused on the wrong thing, we may miss the opportunity set before us.
- Tell the person next to you that we are not in a season to be distracted.

- Today, I am going to be reading Mark's book. It's not a Christmas message, but it is a message that, if we understand it, can create a focal shift in our lives and ministries!
- Let's go together to Mark 5:1-21; I will read all verses, but our main focus will be Mark 5:19-20.
- It is important to bring context to fully embrace and understand the focal verse; if you would allow me, I would like to read it, and you would follow along in Spanish.

(1) They came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gerasenes.
(2) When Jesus stepped out of the boat, he immediately met him out of the tombs, a man with an unclean spirit.
(3) He lived among the tombs. And no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain,
(4) for he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he wrenched the chains apart, and he broke the shackles in pieces. No one had the strength to subdue him.
(5) Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains, he would cry out and cut himself with stones.
(6) And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell before him.
