Hey, welcome to Mission Hill. So good to have you with us today, however you're joining us. I, I'm excited about the message today and my voice is starting to come back from laryngitis, which is my way of saying buckle up a little bit. I'm excited about this message and we actually got a lot of ground to cover.
So I'm gonna, I'm gonna talk probably a little bit fast, but I'm really excited about what God's got for us. Anybody excited to hear from God's word today? Anybody? All right. Yeah. So here's what I wanna talk to you about today. I wanna talk to you today about the next step. I wanna talk to you about your next step of trusting God and I don't know about you sometimes.
Lemme just be really honest with you sometimes. I kinda wish that the last step I took was the last step I had to take. Like that. I don't have to take another next step. Sometimes I get a little tired of having to take a next step of growth or surrender or whatever it is. I, yeah, I bought a table saw recently.
I do woodworking to keep myself sane and I've always had really cheap table saws and so I saved up for a long time. And so I bought myself a pretty decent quality. Like it wasn't top of the line, but for me it was a pretty decent quality saw. And I think because of what I spent on it, I really expected it would arrive fully assembled.
And the freight guy came and he like brought five boxes and I was like, did they send extra wood with the table saw? And I opened that thing up and I'm like, man, some assembly required is the biggest lie that I have heard in a while. And I got the manual out and I was like flipping. I was like, I gotta take that step.
And then that second, and that's a lot of steps. And then I realized that was just to get the body put together. There was still motorists, like there's a whole nother chapter on that. There's so many next steps. And ...
