Title: The First Person to see the Resurrected Christ!

Introduction:
I want to thank the choir for the beautiful Easter Cantata this morning! You did a great job singing for the Lord in celebration of His Resurrection from the dead!
We have been studying through the Gospel of John and we come to a passage about the resurrection of Christ! He appeared to Mary Magdalene before He appeared to any other person on the earth! What a great privilege is Mary's! She has the distinct pleasure of first seeing Christ in His Resurrected Body! But at first, she did not know what was happening, and she even entertained the idea that they had stolen the body of Christ, and she wanted to see it!
Easter is a time for new beginnings and Mary has a new beginning with her relationship with Christ, who has died, been buried, and is now resurrected from the dead! She will see and know Him as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! With that in mind, let us notice several verses about the resurrection this morning!
Body:
1-The Remorse of Mary
11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
weeping. Mary's sense of grief and loss may have driven her back to the tomb. She apparently had not crossed paths with Peter or John and, thus did not know of Jesus' resurrection (see Jhn_20:9).
Mary is weeping and crying for the great loss of Jesus in her life! She goes to the tomb of Jesus to anoint Him properly with burial clothes and ointments, along with spices! When she gets there His body is gone, and she is under the impression that it has been stolen. She stooped down and looked into the tomb, but Jesus was not there, and friends you can go to the garden tomb today and Jesus is not there today either! He arose over 2,000 years ago, and now He is getting ready to come back to this earth to take over! Amen and glory to God! This would be ...
