Hey, we are starting a new message series today, but it's a lot more than a new message series. It's a launchpad into a new season as a church. Some of you may know this, a lot of you may not but we are kind of starting the last leg of our first 100 years as a church.

Mission Hills was founded 83 years ago. July 26th, 1942, couple groups. Yeah, absolutely. Let's praise God for that and for the faithfulness of the people who started that. It was in a little schoolhouse on what then were the plains of Denver. Now it's probably downtown Denver. Think a lot of things have changed.

But it's amazing as we look back on these 83 years and just try to imagine how far beyond their dreams for this church, God has taken this church. And in 17 years, we're going to turn 100. And we really believe that when we get there, we're going to look back on these next 17 years and go, man, God took us even farther beyond where we already were.

Because as many great things as God has done, do we understand that God's not done? Anybody understand that? One of the things we say here a lot is if I'm not dead, God's not done right. Congratulations, you're here. So God's not done with you. So maybe some of you may be feeling like it's close. But at the moment, yeah.

And as a church, 83 years later, we're still here. We're going to be here at half the hundred mark, and God's not done. He's got great things to do when we turn 117 years. Studies say that we probably will have 7 million people living on the front range, and yeah, a lot of 'me are coming from California. And y'all, we love you, but you need to take a driving course and figure out how to drive.

When we love you, we really do. We're so glad you're here. And if you're watching from California, come on out, but take a driving class, okay? There's no such thing as four wheel braking, okay? Doesn't work that way. Now it's going to be 7 million people ...
