So I wanna bring a message to you today from one of the most familiar stories in the whole Bible. The Parting of the Red Sea. Anybody ever heard of it? Yeah. It's one of those stories. Honestly, even if this is your first time in church, you're probably going, oh, wait a minute. I know this one. Because 'cause outta everybody knows it. Years ago I was on tour in Eastern Europe in Bulgaria with a Christian rock band, which I know is hard for you to look at me and picture if I can make it just a little bit harder to picture. I actually had hair. Yeah, I had so much hair that I could put it in a ponytail and then I could pull the ponytail out and shake it around.

That Fabio kind of move. You know it, it was a while ago. Okay, but here's the thing. This was right after the iron curtain came down, and so it was a very hostile place. There were ministries during the time that the Iron Curtain was up that their whole thing was like to smuggle, bible smuggle a handful of Bibles into Eastern Europe, into the former Soviet Union.

So the point is it wasn't a religious place, it wasn't a place that knew much about Jesus. They didn't know the Bible stories, but this Christian rock band, and we had a lead singer. His name was Ted Trigg, which is a very rock and roll kind of name, isn't it? And he was a very rock and roll kind of guy.

Kind of a wild man. And at one point we're playing this concert and it was a pretty packed concert and there was a big crowd of people on the floor in front of the stage. It's a dense area. And so he decided he was gonna go crowd surfing. You guys know what crowd surfing is?
Yeah. Basically you leap into the crowd and they put their hands up and they move you around. So you know what crowd serving is. The Bulgarian did not, and so he leaped and they moved. And he hit the ground and he broke his leg. So the next night he was not quite as much of a wild man 'cause he was hau ...
