*Words communicate what we have on our minds and hearts at that very
moment...Words reveal your heart.

When Jesus walked this earth, especially His final 3 years, He said somethings
that should never be overlooked. Jesus told us specifically about how much He loves
us. [John 3:16]- "For God SO LOVED the world..."] Jesus also made it clear that
there is only one way to Heaven. "I am the way, the Truth, and the Life. NO ONE
COMES TO THE FATHER..."

The words that Jesus said are powerful, and what He said is truth. What He
said when He was on this earth is still real, it is still Truth, and it is unchanging in
our day.

Now, I believe that the greatest word Jesus ever spoke; it was one word in the
Greek language, 3 words in the English; {te-tle-stai} "IT IS FINISHED." ["This is
the greatest single word ever uttered." J. Oswald Sanders]
"IT IS FINISHED." Jesus didn't have to say a lot to mean a lot.

Jesus did not come to be our example, though He is our example to follow.

Jesus did not come to be a Miracle-worker, though He was and still is. Jesus came to
be our Savior. And when He cried out "IT IS FINISHED" He was letting His
Heavenly Father know, those around the Cross, and to us, that His Work of
Redemption was Complete.

Jesus left nothing undone that His Father had given Him to do.

For 3 long years, Jesus had been doing the Work the Heavenly Father had sent
Him to do. It was a Work that centered in the Cross and it was finalized in His
death.

For 6 hours, Jesus had been in complete agony on that Cross. For 3 hours, the
world had been covered with the darkest cloud in human history; but there was a
'silver lining' in that cloud. After those 3 hours, about [3:00 pm.] Jesus said "IT IS
FINISHED."

Think about those 3 English words; "It Is Finished." There is no possible way
to try to explain everything Jesus meant in that statement. One th ...
