- Today, we come to Mark 11 in our study of the Gospel of Mark. And we're going to do something we haven't done much in this series. We're going to look at an entire chapter today. And we're going to ask and answer this question, What Makes Jesus Mad?
- Remember, Jesus is on His way to Jerusalem. This means that He was headed toward the cross. He knew what would await Him there. On His way, there were still principles to share, lessons to teach, and miracles to perform. But more than anything, we see the heart and soul of Jesus. What did He care about? What concerned Him most? What mattered to Him more than anything else? READ 11:1-19 - PRAY
- *We all have things that get on our nerves, drive us up the wall, and make us a bit angry, don't we? I don't know about you but I could give you a long list of things that bother me. Some of these things are small and simple but they still make me mad. For instance, do you ever get ready for bed, snuggle up nice and cozy, ready to go to sleep and then realize you forgot to turn out the light? Or, when our kids were little, we would go through the drive-through because there wasn't a table big enough to fit our family of seven in the restaurant. And we would order our food. But when we got home, the order was wrong. We would be missing a sandwich or fries. Here's one that irks me. People that refuse to use their blinkers while driving. It's not that difficult or complicated. If you're changing lanes or turning, just use your blinker. It's a simple thing that doesn't require that much effort. Here's another one. I get very frustrated with people who don't put up their shopping carts at the grocery store. To me, this is just basic human decency. If I owned a grocery store and folks kept doing that, I would let them know they have forfeited the privilege of a cart and now they have to carry all the ...
