WHAT NOW?

Title: What Now?
Author: Jeff Ecklund

The Resurrection we celebrated last week profoundly changed the lives of people then, now... and in the future. I was pondering what the disciples did after the resurrection and how it changed their lives...and how it should change ours! This is important because Resurrection was the beginning...and not the end!

1 Corinthians 15:20-22 (ESV)
20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits
of those who have fallen asleep.
21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the
resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made
alive.

The Resurrection means that resurrection is a reality for you and I... The most amazing thing you could ever imagine is ahead of you! New Heavens, New Earth, New You! Resurrection means that if he was raised, we will be raised And we will have new bodies, like the body of Jesus...perfected bodies...

1 Corinthians 15:49 (ESV)
49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.

Philippians 3:21 (ESV)
21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

That's pretty awesome news as Jesus walked through walls...wasn't bound by the laws of gravity etc...save a ton of money on make-up, gym memberships, prescriptions etc...hair color and anti-aging products...shoe inserts, wrinkle cream etc...There is a whole industry dedicated to help people not grow old, feel old or get old...Injections, trainers, machines...

Anti-aging market:
The global anti-aging market is a multi-billion dollar industry, with estimates of around $77.96 billion in 2025 and a projected growth to $140.94 billion by 2034. It's amazing what we do and spend to try and defeat the effects of sin, aging. etc right?

The 40 days after the resurrection were profound...I'm super curious about the "day after" honestly. ...
