Luke 4:14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him
went out through all the surrounding region.

After 40 days and 40 nights of fasting and prayer in the wilderness, and overcoming
every temptation of the devil, Jesus then entered into His powerful earthly ministry.
Notice that He returned to Galilee IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT. When we fast and
we resist temptation, the results are powerful. Many of you may have been praying for
breakthroughs in your life, but what I see is that when we fast and pray and resist the
things of our natural inclinations, there is a powerful exchange that takes place. It's my
inabilities for His abilities. It's my weakness for His strength.

So Jesus entered into His earthly ministry in the power of the Spirit. And He began to
perform miracles.

We are here today to talk about THE MIRACLES OF JESUS.

According to the Webster's dictionary, a Miracle is an extraordinary event manifesting
divine intervention in human a?airs.

GOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE A GOD OF MIRACLES

So when Jesus came on the scene, God had already been performing miracles from
the very beginning. I mean we cannot forget some of the amazing miracles God did.

- Creation
- Worldwide Flood
- Sarah, Abraham's wife becoming pregnant with the promised child Isaac at the age
of 90.
- Joseph preserved through so many trials and tribulations and then being raised up to be second in command in all of Egypt.
- The Ten Plagues of Egypt and how God's children were kept alive, especially when the death angel passed through the land, and no first born Israelite was killed because they applied the blood of the lamb to their doorway!
- The Parting of the Red Sea where (some estimate) over 4 million Israelite men, women and children crossed over as on dry land.
- Manna (bread) sent from heaven
- Water coming out of a rock in the Wilderness ...
