Text: 1 Corinthians 11:1-16

Many of us have been involved in or have seen a spelling bee. We understand how they work. The moderator calls out a word to the participant, a word like, apoplectic. The contestant then repeats the word and if time is needed to process and sort the word in their minds, they stall by asking, language of origin. So, the moderator would say, "Latin." They would then ask, "Can you give me a definition?" The judge would respond, "Apoplectic, relating to a stroke or to be indignant or outraged."
