INTRODUCTION

Take your Bible this morning and turn with me to Revelation Chapter 20. Last Sunday morning, we began a new series of messages dealing with the BIG QUESTIONS - the pressing questions, the personal questions that we all ask at some point in our lives, that I've titled "Big Questions - Bigger God: Life, Death, and What Comes Next."

This month - and next - we're going to be asking and answering questions like:

- "Is there life after death? (We dealt with that one last week.)"

- "Why do we have to die?"

- "What is the meaning of life if it ends in death?"

- "Can we know what eternity holds?"

- "How should I live knowing death and eternity are real?"

- And then we'll gather together on Easter Sunday morning to answer the most critical question: "What does Jesus' resurrection mean?"

This morning we're asking this question: "What happens when I die?"

- success,

- wealth,

- or influence

- can outrun it.

In a 2005 interview marking the twentieth anniversary of ...
