Introduction
1. All right, if you have your Bibles, go to Daniel, chapter 2. That's where we're going to be today as we continue our walk through the Book of Daniel, and I'm super pumped and excited that you're here for the message today. I believe God wants to speak to us in a powerful way through the preaching of His Word, and we're excited to get to Daniel, chapter 2.

2. Just a quick recap about the Book of Daniel. Many of you weren't here last week because of the bad weather, and so I'll try to catch up real quick. Daniel, chapter 1, you can go back online and listen to it if you want to, not because I think it's a great sermon, but I think that we serve a great God.

3. Daniel, chapter 1, is a powerful text of scripture that we learn about God's people, how they react to living in a godless age amongst the godless people in a godless time, kind of like you here now today, living in the 21st century. You live in a godless time amongst godless people, and how God's people react to the situations they find themselves in is very important.

4. You remember Daniel and his friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, or Hananiah, Azariah, and Mishael, were taken captive in 597 BC when their city, Jerusalem, was conquered by King Nebuchadnezzar of the Babylonian Empire. What they did is they killed most people, but they would take the best, the young, the bright people left over in the city or in the nation and take them back to Babylon to make them Babylonian.

5. They would give them instructions, their language, their literature. They got new names. They had a new world that they were exposed to. The question last week was, how do you live among godless people and still keep your integrity? How do you live as God's people in a godless age?
