Title: Things Accompanying Salvation (18 of 66)
Series: The Supremacy of Christ
Author: Mike Stone
Text: Hebrews 6:9-12

The virgin Mary being "with child." She possessed something.
Jesus "having" authority. He possessed something.
A blind man "having" blindness. He possessed something.
Like a pregnant woman is linked together with her unborn baby, and she can't go anywhere WITHOUT THE BABY tagging along...
Like Jesus having power and authority...it was WHO HE WAS and He never went anywhere without it...
Like a blind man HAVING blindness...and he never went anywhere without it...
Salvation has some things that GO WITH IT.
These things ACCOMPANY salvation.
When someone plays the piano for a singer to sing, we say they "accompanied" the singer. The 2 things went together. By contrast, I find a lot of people want a capella salvation, that is salvation without any accompaniment.
I find there are a lot of people who want "solo salvation." That is, salvation that comes by itself. Salvation without any repentance, holiness, or surrender. Without any commands, mandates, or Lordship
But the Holy Spirit through this writer says that some things will accompany salva ...
