??A)?Thrive means to grow vigorously, to flourish, to prosper.
?1.?Surviving means you're just holding on versus thriving, which is demonstrated by this flourishing tree. It's healthy, vibrant, alive. It's flourishing.

?ii.?Jesus' mission entails you thriving.
?iii.?Jesus said, "I have come so you may have life." So, you may thrive.
?2.?Salvation is more than the forgiveness of sin. It is living the God-kind of life.
?B)?Jesus taught His followers how to build thriving lives by taking care of their souls-the interior part of their life.
Mark 6:31-Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."
Context of the Text:
(1)?The disciples were out ministering to people. They returned and reported to Jesus their experiences.
(2)?To their surprise, as they were conversing many people were coming to Jesus and to them expressing their needs and a desire to receive ministry.
(3)?It was stressful and overwhelming. Despite the great needs, Jesus prioritized the disciples' need to thrive by practicing self-care also known as soul care.
?C)?Jesus gave the disciples permission to take control of their life despite the demands.
?1.?Jesus offered His disciples three principles to ensure they practiced a lifestyle that supports thriving.
?2.?What would your life look like if you practiced these same principles?
?i.?You would enjoy your family, friends, and relationships better.
